This dive is best done in the afternoon, when the sun swings over to the west. The dive boat anchors in 6m. There is a platform of rock at the base of the cliff, only 5m underwater, where the St Andrew's Divers Cove mooring buoy is located.
When conditions are right, there is the opportunity for an interesting snorkel along the edge of the platform and the vertical wall. This area is rarely fished and shoals of bream are found here as well as large numbers of amberjacks, parrotfish, wrasse, damselfish and sand smelt. There are plenty of shallow caves which host cardinalfish and various species of amemone.
