DIVE BRIEF: This site has a lot of canyons to explore, one of the best swim throughs in Utila and sandy area that allow for excellent opportunity to encounter a Nurse Shark. It is named after the small bay that is located close to this area,
The buoy (7 metres) is at the edge of the extensive plateau that goes from the reef wall all the way to the coast. This plateau is a perfect environment for the Spaghetti Worm and many species of soft coral like Grooved-Blade Sea Whip and the Bent Sea Rod. The wall ascends from the sandy bottom (14 metres) to the plateau and runs parallel to the shore. In the crevices of this wall you might find the Spotted Drum in its different life stages.
